It is also very mystical, adding to the appeal of the Japanese dragon tattoo. Over the ages, from Egyptian times the dragon has represented good and also represented evil. However, the attraction of the Japanese dragon, apart from its stunning beauty is that it represents good luck and the source of wealth. The Japanese dragon also represents the meaning of freedom and being fearless, both very attractive qualities.

In the Greek language, dragon is sourced from draca, which means serpent.

Like the angel, the Japanese Dragon also has the meaning of guardianship, providing a protective force over those it was associated with. Other meanings associated with the Japanese dragon is strength and power. In Japanese culture the dragon is associated with supernatural powers, and amazing wisdom.

There are six forms of the Japanese Dragon. They are:

Sui-Riu is the king Dragon and is in control of the rain. Therefore in this day and age of drought he is all powerful!

Han-Riu has many stripes on his body and is up to forty feet in length. One of the biggest dragons.

Ri-Riu dragon is a rare breed that is not well understood. However, it is known that they have amazing eye sight.

Ka-Riu is a brilliant red color, and a petite dragon in comparison with the others.

          ]]>

Fuku-Riu is a favorite dragon of many people as it is the dragon of luck.

Hai-Riyo is known as the dragon bird, and the most advanced form of dragon. It evolved out of Chinese mythology.

The colors of the dragons have special significance, which are based on their parents. For example a dragon with a black color means their parents are very old and wise. Green dragons are smaller than average, but are representative of life and of the earth. Gold colored dragons are special because they have many special attributes such as wisdom, kindness and the ability to face challenges head on.

Yellow dragons represent the east. They are great companions when you need a hand, but can be self absorbed at times. Blue dragons are from the west. They are forgiving and compassionate, but on the negative side can be lazy and uncaring when it suits them.

Finding the right Japanese Tattoo Design for you can be quite daunting. Check out all the free sites on the net to get as many ideas as you can. Just remember that many other people have done the same thing to get ideas. For example, last month, over 41,000 people searched for dragon tattoo designs on Yahoo. Apparently, roughly 8 times that amount check out Google for the same search term. Then there is MSN and the other search engines. So a huge amount of people see the same free designs as you. If you want original Japanese Dragon tattoo designs, it is recommended that you check out books or other sources of tattoo designs that are not freely available. I have checked out three Japanese dragon tattoo galleries on the internet that have from 3,500 to 6000 different designs, so you will have no trouble finding what you want.

Have you been thinking about what your next tattoo design should be? If you want a mythical design that will amaze all who look upon it, the best choice may be angel wings. These heavenly instruments of flight have a long history over the past millennium of art. Let your body be the next canvas, equal in beauty to Michelangelo’s work in the Sistine Chapel. http://www.idealhere.com/Tattoo-Machines_c238

Traditionally, angels are seen as guardians of mere mortal men. They are prevalent throughout Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, so angel wing tattoos don’t really carry the stigma or relationship of any of these religions. That means that anyone can feel comfortable sporting a pair on their body. Angels also hold the distinction of being God’s personal messengers, at least to a sizable number of the people who will see your tattoo. Still, it’s important to realize that your tattoo doesn’t necessarily have to possess any kind of religious connotation. What’s yours is yours, and when the ink dries, you’ll have a unique design that has never been seen before.

Angel tattoos are thought to have different meanings in relation to the two sexes. On a woman, an angel is viewed as a means for search within oneself, often for the purity of the soul. When a man wears an angel tattoo, it’s thought to signal a deep and profound respect for women. Sometimes men who are deeply and madly in love will get an angel wing tattoo as a symbol of their devotion. Ladies, watch out! A man with angel wings is probably more passionate than anyone you’ve dated yet.

Guardian angels are also very popular. These are seen as a method of protecting the wearer from evil. One of the most frequent visitors to the tattoo studio is a person who has recently experienced tragedy in the form of a death in the family. They seek to ink an angel somewhere on their body to represent the departed person watching (and protecting) them from above. Your angel wings tattoo can be as intricate or as simple as you want. Many people like a design that shows individual feathers. Remember that this tattoo represents you: therefore, it should be a unique and strong design that makes a personal statement. Obviously, with a more complicated design, you’ll need more money to make your dream of an angel wing tattoo a reality. Keep in mind that this symbol will be with you forever, so you may want to budget a little extra to finance the special little touches that will set you apart from the crowd.

An angel tattoo is a beautiful way to express whatever message you seek to impart to others. You’ll have the attention of an entire room (or beach!) whenever your tattoo is visible. There’s nothing sexier or more mysterious than an angel waiting to swoop down from heaven with an important message, and your tattoo will certainly reflect that. Head to a local shop today to see the different designs and styles available to create your unique angel wings. http://www.idealhere.com

Picking a tattoo design to permanently put on your body is no easy task. And nor should it. The challenge of picking and finding a design you think you will love forever is half the fun. The second half of the fun is wearing a tattoo you love. Find your tattoo here: http://www.idealhere.com

Most people consider getting a custom tattoo machines as a way to express themselves and as a type of art. While there are several people who thoroughly think of a design before getting it done, there are some who do it because they are drunk. But nevertheless, one of the common designs which have some meaning behind it is the Wholesale Accessories.

Of all the types of tattoos which have become popular in recent years, tattoos which feature various forms of ornate writing are among the most visually stunning. Oftentimes, these are ambigram tattoos that can be read backwards, forwards or upside down and which will still spell out the same word. Calligraphic art is one of the oldest and most established of forms and the effect is really quite elegant. Because most of these tattoos are monochrome, they are also usually very inexpensive yet have as much impact as a tattoo that may cost thousands of dollars. While it is true that a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes a word can say more than a thousand pictures.

An ambigram tattoo may be created in advance or by a tattoo artist on the spot. Keep in mind that this is a very advanced form of art and one would generally do well to select one beforehand. The ambigram must immediately spell out the same work when viewed from any direction which means that the letters must be legible from any angle. It is no small trick to create such a device. When it’s done right, however, there are few things with which one can adorn their body which have more visual appeal.

Ambigrams may be a single word or a phrase. What’s more, they need not be restricted to one language. Many alphabets will work for this effect. The type of calligraphy used can vary as much as do individual preferences, as well. If one prefers dense Germanic script, for instance, this can be adapted to the purposes of an ambigram just as can medieval script, modern typography or any other font. A good example of how flexible this form of art truly can be can be found in many company logos which feature modern fonts that spell out ambigrams.

Remember to choose a word that encompasses a part of one’s personality to a significant degree. Words which express a momentary, fleeting emotion are generally not recommended in any regard. For instance, one would likely do well to avoid having the name of a band done in an ambigram as musical tastes tend to change over the course of one’s life. Fundamental beliefs, however can usually be expressed in very direct terms and one of those terms may make an excellent ambigram tattoo.

Reasons for getting a tattoo vary from one person to another. Some of them are deep, personal reasons that are even kept hidden sometimes, while others prefer to stand out and express themselves. Whatever the reason maybe, the best ones are usually those that are carefully thought out and well planned.

Unfortunately, there are some people who acquire a tattoo on impulse and regret the hasty decision later on. These are the ones who made the decision under the influence of alcohol or other substance, a bet, or in commemoration of a partner who they later do not have the same feeling for. Even celebrities make this foolish decision, only to suffer the painful and expensive process of tattoo removal afterward. It is very rare that someone making these quick decisions stick with their tattoos for a lifetime. They usually grow out of the euphoric feeling their tattoos give and end up hating them, leading to a cover up tattoo or a tattoo removal procedure.

On the other hand, some people spend their days in the glory of their well-planned tattoos. These are the ones who came prepared and ready for the consequences of their actions. They had planned well and they were certain of what they wanted from the beginning. Getting a tattoo is a big decision and it is not something one should take lightly. Tattoos are used as distinguished symbols, either identifying you as a part of a group or setting you apart from the rest of the world.

Included in this group are the ones who got tattoo just because they like having one. For this group of people, it doesn’t matter if they get inked by something they like just as long as they get one. Sometimes, getting a tattoo from a popular tattoo artist is reason enough for these people or seeing an artwork on someone else’s skin, for that matter. However, the beauty of a tattoo depends on the eye of the person who has it and what experience it provides for them.

Tattoo design is a form of self-expression so it really matters how you choose your designs and the colors to go with it. This should be something meaningful in your life or something that will remind you of who you are every time you lay your eyes on it. It could be something you feel strongly for and you stand by it no matter what, even for years to come. Tattoos can represent dates and times of your life that you wish not to forget. A tattoo is something that you should do for your own personal reasons and not because someone told you so.
